Globally acclaimed Korean boy group, THE BOYZ is going to release JAPAN New Full Album, Gibberish on July 19.
THE BOYZ debuted in Korea in 2017. The group's name means "to be the only boy who makes the crowd fall in love with him". In 2020, they won the first place in both cumulative points and the final stage of the popular survival TV show 'Road to Kingdom' on the Korean broadcaster Mnet, and in the 'KINGDOM' broadcast from April 2021, they came second in the final results with a performance that was outstanding amongst the best. They are sometimes called 'performance craftsmen' because of their high level of stage performance ability, and they fascinate the audience with their unique colors no matter what the concept.
In 2022, THE BOYZ toured six cities in the US and four cities in Europe as 'THE BOYZ WORLD TOUR: THE B-ZONE' and held an encore performance at the KSPO DOME in Seoul for three days. In October, they held their first Japan tour "THE BOYZ JAPAN TOUR: THE B-ZONE" in major three cities, proving their immense popularity both at home and abroad.
In 2023, they held the second world tour, which toured 12 cities in Asia including Japan, was also a great success, and in November the same year they won the special award 'Best Asian Group' at the music awards 'MTV VMAJ 2023' organized by MTV Japan.
“Gibberish", the third full-length album in Japan for THE BOYZ, is an album in which Rakudo (boys who love music) express their own values in a confused world with a straightforward message. The title track 'Gibberish' scheduled on July 2 prior to the album, is a hip-hop dance track with a distinct Y2K mood that fuses strong rock sounds and hip-hop, and is a new challenge for the group that they have never presented before.
THE BOYZ will kick off their third world tour 'THE BOYZ WORLD TOUR: ZENERATION II' at KSPO DOME in Seoul for three days from 12-14 July prior to the album release. After that, they will visit 14 major cities in nine countries around the world incl the US, Japan, Southeast Asia, France and UK.
